From the Oracle Lake to Mt Kailash and Guge
Starting in the forested enclaves of Kongpo, this route follows the Brahmaputra upstream, detouring to the renowned Oracle Lake of Lhamo Latso, and eventually reaches Ngari, where we circumambulate Mt Kailash and explore the art heritage of the medieval Guge Kingdom.
The sacred sites of Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal in Tibet
Trans Himalaya and Jnanasukha are organizing two pilgrimages to the sacred sites of Yeshe Tsogyal in September-October, 2010—from her birthplace at Drakda to her isolated hermitages at Yemalung, Chimphu, Zhoto Tidro, Sheldrak and Zabulung. All Jnanasukha profits are channelled into conservation projects at Drakda.
Bumthang cultural trek
This route combines the Drukpa heartlands of Western Bhutan with cultural trekking in Bumthang, from Kurje Lhakhang to Ugyen Choling in the Tang valley.
